Pied d'Amour maintains a strict policy of only supplying most children's footwear by in-store sales only, with the exception of slippers, slipper socks and footwear that the manufacturer allows on line sales of their respective styles. It is important to know that the fitting of children's footwear is all the more serious as feet do not fully form until the approximate age of eighteen. The feet of a child is most susceptable to damage until the final developing and firming of bones, cartledges and tendons. This damage we witness everyday when adult customers attend our store. Prevention is better than cure. Many foot ailements are often so compounded by the time adults visit us for the first time that we are providing footwear and foot care solutions to conditions that are in excess of twenty years plus. The correction process is not immediate. So please get your children's feet measured regularly and ensure that their footwear is correctly fitted.
