Loake Bros Ltd, was established in 1880 by the three Loake brothers, Mr. Thomas, Mr. John, and Mr. William, with the aim to provide the most comfortable, hansome and durable shoes possible. Five generations later, Loake remains family owned and still represents its orignal aim and is most famous for its Goodyear Welted footwear which its premium range remains constructed in England, requiring some 130 skilled craftsmen, up to 75 shoe parts and approximately 200 opperations are involved to create, with only the highest quality of materials, a range of shoes that speak for themselves.

Loake 1880

No detail is compromised in this premium range of footwear, made using the techniques that can be traced back to when Loake first started. Using the very best hand burinshed calf leather, self crafted leather built heals, leather linings and insoles, this is a collection to which many shoemakers can but only aspire to. The Loake 1880 range is crafted at their Northamptonshire factory which each pair of Loake 1880's being supplied with shoe bags and a spare pair of laces.

Loake Evolution

Loake Evolution combines the classic styling and traditional manufacturing methods for which Loake is renowed with the instant wearablitiy of modern footwear. This is achieved through the use of a new system of construction which gives a degree of comfort and flexiblity previuosly unavailible in a Goodyear Welted shoe.
